need seat belt help

need seat belt help

ok so i bought a new (from junkyard) seat belt for my 01 civic for 25 bucks. problem is the belt is a different color. anyone here know how to swap just the belts because i have the right color belt.
first time posting here.

if you or anyone else has NEVER touched or messed with the original seat belts in your car, take it to a dealer and they will replace them for free

Possibly for the SRS light, one of the buckle switches. That seems like the more common problem to me.

Maybe a dog chewed the belts.
Maybe someone panicked and cut the belt because their kid was trapped. (I've seen this done but couldn't comprehend it.)

OP has not said what was wrong with his belts.

OP has not stated WHY he bought the wrong color either.

Have you talked to a car interior shop? Most shops can change them out in a hour.
