Lightbulb DIY - Honda civic ep2 Type R spoiler install (European car)

Hi i wanted to make this post for everyone because on the internet and forums this topic is patchy, its not really shown how to do it so here is my point of view on how to modify Ep3 type R spoiler to fit ep2 rearhatch.
This took me 2 hours total for the cutting sanding and fitting, on my car someone had allready made run trough hole for the brakelight plug so it cut the time of the project a littlebit.
If you need to make the run trough hole you will need a drillbit and preferabely a rubber round blug or silicone sealant so when you put the rear brakelight wire trough you can seal it from water to get in and from rusting.
The hole needs to be made in between the 2 middle bolt holes on the rearhatch.

Remember when using a dremel on this use safety glases and a facemask so the peaces that come of flying dont hit you in the eye and the smell of the abc plastic melting ain't pleasant

The tools and items i used for this project were Dremel, silicone sealant, 10mm socket and rachet, straight edge molding, masking tape (you might need a drillbit to make a hole to the rearhatch for the brakelight wires)

i masked the edges so if the dremel slips it doesn't mark the paint

this is the rough cut line on the inside you need to make so the spoiler will fit

this is the rough cut line on the outside edge needed for the fitment

this when the stand offs have been cut off and its rough so it needs sanding a bit to look better

these are the pieces that come off

i used some straight edge rubber molding to make the spoiler rattle go away

i added some silicone sealant to the edges so the edgeseals are firmly mounted to the spoiler

the straightedge molding i used might be a little too high profile i might trim them a little bit to get more flush fit on the bottom part

here is a comparison on the old little tiny lip vs the new type r spoiler
