It has always saddened me that the EM2 does not have a 12v output.

So I found my old power inverter in my Crystler Voyager rated at 400W and decided to install it as nicely as possible in my car.

Materials I Used:
Thick electrical battery cables
40A Breaker
Crimping Tools
Inverter

NOTE: Disconnect the Battery

Run the battery cables through the firewall

(Note: The easiest way I found to do this is to wrap both ends of the cables together with electrical tape. Then remove the grommet in the firewall. Make a small hole at the end of the grommet and push the cables through.
Go inside the car and remove the glove box (Two screws on the bottom and the clips on the sides. You might be able to see the cables from the back. If not wiggle them around or push more.
I used a coat hanger shaped as a hook to grab the cables and pull them out.)







2.
Attach the cables to the inverter so you make sure you have enough. Place the inveter in the place that you want it.





3.
Grab the other ends of the wires and attach the 40A breaker to the positive end.



4.
Attach the positive first then the negative end to the battery.


5. Make sure everything is running properly.
