Rep Power: 0 Stock class legal wheels
The SCCA Solo II rules say the following about wheel sizes allowed in Stock class:
13.4 Wheels
Any type wheel may be used provided it complies with the following: it is the same width and diameter as standard, and as installed (including wheel spacers if applicable) it does not have an offset more than +/- 0.25 inch from a standard wheel for the car. The resultant change in track dimensions is allowed.
The definition of "standard" is as follows:
12.4 Standard Part
An item of standard or optional equipment that could have been ordered with the car, installed on the factory production line, and delivered through a dealer in the United States. Dealer-installed options or deletions, except as required by factory directives, no matter how common or what their origin, are not included in this definition. This definition does not allow the updating or backdating of parts. [Emphasis mine]
Based on these definitions, are 17" x 7" wheels Stock class legal for my 2001 Civic? (i.e. Were 17" x 7" wheels available as a factory option in 2001?)
Tried searching for this info but was not able to find the answer to this specific question.
Thanks in advance,
LF

Rep Power: 279 I do not believe there were any 17x7 options. This is just a logical conclusion by browsing handaccessories.com. Biggest they have on there for the 01-05 is a 16x6.5

Rep Power: 399 You need a 15x6 wheel with a +45mm offset +/- .25" (~6.5mm). The HFP kit was a dealer installed option, therefore not covered under that rule as useable. If its an LX or DX, you'll need a 14x5.5" wheel.
