basically spoon knock-offs like rotas. only $89 each.
Size: 15x6.5

ok I PM'd but maybe it's better to get the answer here for everyone to see.
I dont see the big deal in whether you use a 6.5 or a 7 so could you explain?

the wider the wheel, the wider the tire you can use. a bigger tire foot-print means you get more traction. .5 might not seem like a big difference, but when you add up all 4 wheels, thats 2 inchs of diameter total, and even more of a total foot-print area.

I understand that but I just don't see it making a HUGE difference with this particular car....
I just got 15x6.5 slips cuz I wasn't about to wait an additional 2 months on top of the 1.5 to get them....

i don't think there is 'that' big of a difference, but probably a noticable one. wider rims also weigh more. gaining weight for gaining traction.

I have 6.5's too... but I know better now.
Performance wise, I've seen as much as a 2 second difference between a 6.5 and 7" wheel on the same car (Same brand/size tire Kumho MX 205/50-15 running on a 1989 Civic Si.).. However the amount of time difference will vary greatly between tires. Example, the Falken azenis isnt effected as much when mounted on a 7 Vs 6.5" wheel, but the Kumho MX is. thats becuase the MX has softer sidewalls. So your results may vary due to tire selection.

The Old Spoons were originally designed for the Older civics/integras and they were also designed to meet Certin racing classing restrictions... which is why they are only 6.5" wide. we can fit a much wider wheel and have no such restrictions (Assuming you arnt running SCCA autocross in Stock or STS classes). So why not run the widest thing you can fit?

Good tires, compariable in dry performance to the Faken Azenis and Kumho MX... Reason you dont see them much on ST cars is because they cost twice as much as its compeitors.... so why spend twice as much on a tire thats not gong to make you faster on course? But for a street tire... I'd sport them if I had the $, better wet traction Quieter, Softer ride... They make for a MUCH better street tire. but as a track only tire, there are cheeper tires that are just as fast.

I remeber you telling me that, You got the 205's right? Next time try the 225's... and enjoy the extra traction
Like I said, I'd sport them, but I cant justify spending that much $$$ on a tire that I might get 8-10,000 Miles out of...

I can still get 225's....neither are hard to get so they weren't really 'odered' persay. I just don't want them to be too fat

Check out the Kosei K1 and the K1 TS, both are fairly light weight and pretty cheep.
K1 = $109 @ tire rack, 13.5 LBS
K1 TS = $149 @ Tire rack, 12.6LBS
