I'm tired of changing wheels everytime I go to the strip. So I'm gonna sell the DR's and rock stockies with these babies all the time(sleeper style ). Got the 195/60R-14 86H. Now I'll have the .2-.3 that I lose on my 17's on the street. Plus I'm sure they are alot stiffer than the nitto's for spirited driving. Just have to be careful in the rain, but I've heard these are better than the one's they replaced. Any of you auto Xers have any experience with them yet or hear anything? Would it damage the sidewall if I ran these at 22psi at the strip? If so what would be the lowest I could go without damage? Hopefully they will be here by friday for the track. Thanks guys.

I have them on my WRX and they are fantastic. They are pretty loud at highway speeds, and are very slippery when wet. (Even with AWD I was sliding a bit on the freeway during a moderate downpour) But the grip is amazing when dry, and they have a very nice release point. It comes pretty smoothly and doesnt give you any unexpected suprises at the brink, when things are sketchy. Good purchase!

Cool. Good to hear. Just have to watch out in the rain for sure. I was gonna get the old style cause they were $120 less but they are heavy as hell. 615's are supposed to be fairly light. Anyone know where I can find out the exact weight? I saw on a Mini cooper site that the 205/40/16 were 18lbs so I'd imagine these would be equal to that or a bit less?

Stick em on a scale. As far as running them low pressure, the tire won't care, but the sidewalls are probably stiff enough that they're not gonna coil up a whole lot when you launch it.

just confirmed on Vulcantire.com. 18lbs a piece. Same as my BFG's. I pulled a 2.1 60ft on 17" Nittos last weekend. These gotta have more grip for sure. So I should be able to match the 2.0 that I pulled on the BFG's. Unless they are too stiff like you said. Hope I made the right choice. See what happens friday. Thanks for the quick response guys.

Damn! Ordered these late Mon night. Payed $30 for ground shipping and they were here early this morning. Discounttire kicks ***. Guess it helps that the Texas border is only 15min away too. Well haven't had a chance to test them out, but just driving for a few mins. today they felt real sticky. Went from a 40 profile 17 to a 60 in these so the ride is a bit more comfortable, not by much though due to the stiff sidewalls. I'll give review after the track this friday and put some more miles on them. So far I like Got some pics. Looks like your avg. civic with a fart can from a distance or rolling. That's exactly what I want.

I don't know about kill, but may surprise them. . Once I get some N20 then maybe I can rack up some kills. Need to get tint as well to hide my gutted interior. It's gonna be fun surprising people. And to think I was gonna sell her.
