Angry SCCA Texas Region...whats the deal??

Its almost been 3 weeks since our last race(TMS Bus Lot, Sep 26), & they still have not posted the results. They always take FOREVER to post the damn results, but this is longer than normal. I dont know what their deal is, it shouldnt take 3 weeks to sort this stuff out, especially when we only get 3 runs . When I race with the ER club, they have the results posted like the next day, granted they dont have near as many entrants, but 3 weeks, come on, this is rediculous.

Any other regions take this long?? Does anyone have any insight as to why theyre taking so long??

lberry is an unknown quantity at this point
Because they are unorganized...at least it seems that way. At the last event they had one line to register and pre register...at least it seemed that way. Everyone was standing in one LONG line....then they make you walk back around and stand in another line to get a work assignment. By the time I am done signing up (after I already signed up online to apparently save time) it's ten minutes till a drivers meeting and I have walked the course MAYBE twice (if I am lucky). And because they take so long to get everyone signed up they tell you you only get 3 runs..

I think I want to start running with some of the other local clubs. The ER club event I last attended was nicer and they gave you the option to have fun runs at the end.....Much better experience.

Don't get me wrong, I love the sport and I know as it grows more people will be coming out to events and that is cool, but the Texas region needs to get more organized and keep up.

This has been my 3rd year autoxing and the organization of our region is getting worse.

Bitch, Bitch, Bitch.... Yes I am good at it!

Do they still use a manual timing system? (With people writing down your times) or do they use an automated computer system?? (Like every one else in the 21st century).

We just switched to computerized timing and we can have results ready the next day, easily.

This is the system we use BTW, http://www.axwaresystems.com/
