LOOKS?!?!?
WHO FVCKIN' CARES?!?!?
Like Zzyzx told Boilermaker a LONG time ago about his rims, "I'd run PINK [he said rims, I'll say TIRES] if they were light enough!" Same goes here...I don't care WHAT they look like...as long as they stick better, don't heat up as fast, and don't get "gooey"!!
If they're better gripping....w00t!! NICE.
I like the comment about Falken catering more to the ST crowd...NICE!

I hate having to buy them from crappy websites, or having to go to discount tire for an assraping.

Like Boilermaker1 said a LONG time ago about his rims, "I'd run PINK [he said rims, I'll say TIRES] if they were light enough!"
Zzyzx said that... I offered to pay for the spray paint to do it. Either way, I'm buying a set as early as I can get them.... My Kumhos don't have a whole lot left to give.

.... Hm... 14"???? WIDE 14s?????????? If they made a 215/55-14 or a 215/50-14.... or even another 205.... I'd be all over that.
(And so would all the 89 Si STS cars and then they would be faster....
)
Boilermaker, I'm still waitng for those pink Keizers to show up..

I told you... you show me wheels... Spray paint is on the way

Meanwhile.... 225/45/15, I'm begging for them. I will MAKE them fit if I have to... just come on, bring it!
looks ok ... it said that it would only be marginally better gripping than the current azenis ...
how would the (current) azenis compare to say ... bridgestone s03's or goodyear f1 gs-d3s?

The Azenis has better overall dry grip then both, but at the cost of Road noise, and a bit of wet traction.

The only time i've had problems with them in the rain is when I was autocrossing and there was alot of puddles.... they griped the wet pavement very well, but when you hit a puddle... Hydroplane city.

well, the comment over on Honda Tech is that the compound is unchanged. So the one thing that needed DIRE improvement, is gonna get worse because the blocks are smaller now. More greasy feel, earlier. I was really hoping they altered the mix and got the temp tolerances up a bit.
are these the drag radial like azenis or the all season azenies? two of the hommies died in a accident when they hit a puddle going 80 on glenoakds and the azenies propelled them into a poll.. all seasons are no prob for me.. hooks up just as nice

Yes these are the MAXIMIM dry traction Azenis(RT-215), not the All season (ST-115)
And Azenis have never been drag radials.... People have used them for drag racing, but that is not what they are designed for. They were designed for Maximum DRY traction. and Falken Recomends going slower when its wet out. I'm sorry 2 of your friends died, but goins 80 when its wet out is never a good idea no matter what tires you have.
