brembo blanks and hawk HP +

is brembo blank and hawk hp + a good combination for track, let say 10 laps really hard braking before cool down? (not solo2, i got another pad specfically for solo2 because it got cooked in 2 laps of track with solo2 pads), thanks!

i ran the exact same setup before. should be fine. if its your first time on the track, you wont be using your brakes anywhere near their full potential...

...if you are experienced and gonna be out their hammering on the car, youll probably notice fade towards the end of the run session.

i think i'll be getting HAWK BLUE next.

used the Axxis ultimates twice( one with oem blank and one with brembo blank rotor). they were great but a bit of fade in the end.

always good to try something new. and the hawk blue seems to be the #1 pads for SCCA pro racing

hawk blues work very well... but be prepared for lots (and i mean LOTS) of brake dust. you can tell a noticeable build up of brake dust within 3-4 days of cleaning your wheels spotless.

they are great pads... but ill never drive them on the street again.

super blue-it and forget it.

that is until you need to bleed/flush your brakes again.

the kit i got is for 16s. i know fastbrakes makes a 11" front brake kit using the wilwood dynalite calipers that will fit 15"s.

i hadnt heard that about the calipers... hmm. ive had nothing but good luck with mine. for the price (i believe the kit was around $750) it is one of the best upgrades on my car. i raced on the track with and without the kit... there is definitely difference. not only in the feel... but the stop watch doesnt lie either.
