Can i take my hood off?
Can i take my hood off? Hi guys, im getting ready for an autox event and I was wondering what the pro's and cons were about removing my hood for the event. I know my short ram intake would love it and it would lighten up my front end 
, but since nobody down there has already done that, I was wondering if it effects handling and the integrity of the car?

Sounds like you better get an SCCA or NASA rule book before you go.
This isn't a drag strip test and tune where you can strip and pull everything out. There are classes with rules, its to your benefit to put it in as low a class as you can given the low power the car has.
