Avon Tech R ???
I KNOW you guys get the emails sent out by the TireRack.com people....and I just got one.....about the "New Avon Tech R" tires....
Whatcha think? Would they be legal in STS? They're US DOT approved....
Just curious....'cause at $162/ea. .....they're WAY outta my price range anyway. ESPECIALLY @ 4/32" tread.....and Z rated.....I'd BLOW through them. But they look good

Thos are most definitly NOT STS legal....... they have a tread wear of 40!!!! were limited to a minimum tread wear of 140.
But they would be fun.

Usually anything with an R is an R compound. They are legal in stock class and every other class BUT ST classes!
