Video from the Tire Rack

Ok, this is shitty because I had to USB it. My firewire is down at school.
I finished 4th out of 14 cars after holding fast time at one point. Then I got too excited I was running well, got greedy and overdrove the car. I think my the end of the day the tires got too hot and I learned the meaning of "Kumhos get greasy". Time to get the Falken water sprayer system.
This was my first good showing of the year... maybe I can keep it up now that I remembered how to drive.

looks cool, Looked like very techincal coures.

Gotta admire the Tire Rack, Very few tire Resalers actually have a track next door where they actually Test the tires they sell....

yes they're MXs. They stuck like crazy glue until they completely gave way the last run.
Also found out just how stiff those shocks got... Took the rears all the way to 14/15. I'm not sure if they even moved...

man that was sweet! There's a track meet on May 24th at Shannonville in Ontario. I'll be hitting the track for the first time. I'm a little nervous though. Any suggestions, things that I should be aware of with this car?

^^ Know the limits for the car. Walk the course as many times as possible. Dont worry about your times, just run it the way you feel comforable.

How about, if the car starts to oversteer DO NOT HIT THE BRAKES!!!! that is the worst thing you can do in an oversteer situation. the second worst thing you can do is lift off the gas. What you Do is add in a little bit of throttle and countersteer only as fast as the car is rotating. and Finally, when you do spint Both feet in! (Brake and Clutch) your car will thank you for not trying to make it run backwards.
