Yes, although it sounds a bit slow and lumpy turning over. My Brother ( he's a mechanic) is gonna come and look at it tomorrow. He mentioned some stuff to put in the coolant, ''steelfix" or something. Apparently the last owner has bypassed the thermostat. If that doesn't work then it's a new head gasket.

do not put any junk in the coolant, you'll just cause future problems.
if it just turning slow, could be the battery is weak.
if the old owner bypassed the thermostat it's probably been overheated multiple times.
take the head to a machine shop and have them go over it, will probably need to be resurfaced
use honda parts, heagasket, timing belt + tensioner, water pump, etc, etc

first post have two videos on how to test gaskets - other tests are likely to not show if the gasket is a culprit, so show them to whoever gonna test.

Hi everyone update. Have put 'Steel Seal' in rad ( needed car today) but will be replacing gasket and thermostat soon and skimming head. Suspect previous owner has done something similar so it is a temporary fix.Am shortshifting.to keep revs down. Have replaced cambelt and water pump already. Paid less than a grand so did expect to have to spend some on repairs etc, it is seventeen years old after all.Oh yeah and the battery was flat but seems fine after a charge so happy days for now 😀
