I am from Southern Louisiana. My first Honda was a brand new '76 Civic that i bought from my best friend after he had rolled it in a ditch. I got in on my back and pushed the roof back up and beat on the frame until i could get the windshield to fit and the doors sealing properly. It was covered in Bondo. It was the ugliest thing you can imagine. I drove that car for a good eight years without any further mechanical issues. I have had three other Honda's since and loved everyone. I just bought a '96 Civic for my son's first car. It has a strange issue. I had to remove the fuse to the electric locks to keep the battery from going flat overnight. Since i removed this fuse the battery is fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does it have an aftermarket keyless entry?

Do you have a multimeter? Sounds like a possible short.
