Burst Sunvisor
Burst Sunvisor
I have a 2007 Honda Civic, USA model, I am English, living in America, in 2011 a letter turned up, letting me know I can claim for faulty Sunvisors, and they shortly after, burst in the Virginia heat of summer, they were replaced free of charge. Now one might reasonably believe the replacement would not be faulty, but, now, in 2013, passenger side has failed, burst again, so a faulty product replaced with a faulty product. Honda refuse to replace the visor, I will be contacting the legal people, how dare you give me faulty parts and think that is OK!
I own an Element as well, but I am considering a different make next time, but then, all car manufacturers are scamming gits
...............and another thing, the SAcura rip off, in the UK thats a Honda, and the cars are better, the people of the USA are being conned

Re: Burst Sunvisor
I hope my sun visor doesn't fall down on me!
Americans are the only ones that would buy a more expensive Honda. The majority of Americans don't care about the same things that the Europeans care about.
I would love for Honda to release a UK or Japan spec car over here!

Re: Burst Sunvisor
^ that sucks! Is there more of a tax on stuff?
When I was a service writer at Pep-Boys (for about a month) I do remember a guy coming down from Canada on his way to the beach and wanting his whole truck looked at. He dropped like 2k on tires, tune up, any suspension stuff that was worn. He said his family comes down every year to the beach and they bring a different vehicle every year and get work done while they are in the states because it is so expensive in Canada. It would have easily been double the price to have a shop up there do it.
