Been trolling this site for the last few weeks after my youngest son bought (with money from selling my F150) a 2K Civic EX with 132K. Hopefully it will get him through his last year in HS and 4 years of college.

My first Civic was a 1986 Si that I drove the **** out of for 3 years. That thing ran like a scalded dog. But I had to sell because a 2 seater just wasn't practical with 4 children.

Anyway the other cars in my stable are 04 G35X (hers) and 05 Matrix 4WD w/TRD SC (mine). And yes we still have the minivan for those family trips when my kids come back from school. My name was given to by some guys on Matrixowners.com when I would give them jars of homemade Salsa when they helped with the SC setup and tune.

The plans for this car is very simple, maybe an intake and catback (NO FI). I know it will only gain a few HPs but it will help with the MPGs. Also my son want's a HU and AMP and Subs. Yea old dad will end up installing that stuff.

Welcome!! This is a great place for help. Intake and sound system upgrades would be some good first upgrades...didn't know you could do that to a matrix (I'm thinking by SC you mean supercharger), but sounds cool!!
