New to CivicForums
My names Chase,
I've been perusing the forums for the last week and I must say I'm pretty impressed by the volume of experts and enthusiasts here. But what really helped me transition from lurker to member status was the overall helpfulness that seemingly radiated from the more seasoned mechanics.
So, on to the introduction.
I have a house in Houston, Texas. But I live/work in Italy for now.
I'm Caucasian. I was raised by dolphins until I was old enough swim.
I own a 2003 civic LX Sedan. All stock. 66,000mi. Budget around $5,000.
Goals in order of priority:
1. (Ride Quality) To make it the most comfortable commuter car possible.
2. (MPG)
3. (Longevity) I would also like to optimize it to last 10 more years based on mild to moderate use. Although ultimately I wish to ride it into the ground if it outlasts this forecast.
I know this is an introduction thread so I'm not asking for immediate advice here. I'm just letting you know where I stand as an owner and I'll be sure to re-post in the appropriate forum.
ciao!

My names Chase,
Hi Chase.
the overall helpfulness ..... from the more seasoned mechanics.

Sorry, I just HAD to.
Ok, I'm not really sorry at all.
...... I was raised by dolphins until I was old enough swim.
Congratulations.
This is the entire reason for my answering the post.
+1, Good Sir.
1. (Ride Quality) To make it the most comfortable commuter car possible.
It's a cracker box, Cracker.
You want a cushy ride, buy a Buick. (I can say that because I own a 12 Civic AND an old Park Avenue.)
LOL
