:)
My name is Nicole
I live in southern California
I have a 99 ex that I’m in the process of building
I’m kind of looking for somebody or a group of people, “to take me under their wing,” when it comes to brands, parts, stupid questions I have and somebody to maybe roll with sooner or later
Currently all I’ve done is a K&N cold air intake, Greddy cat back and DC headers
Right now I’m changing my direction to the exterior and looking into a lip kit, head lights, rims, and new paint
Feel free to pm me

Re: :)
Thank you
When I even mention a lip kit to my friends (they all drive jettas) they start in with, why don’t you buy a spoiler and a giant decal too
The part I’m stuck at is what to do after i finish the exterior?

Re: :)
Welcome to the forum. I'd personally work on getting a nice suspension setup before doing exterior mods.

Re: :)
The vw crowd and honda crowd have very different tastes in my experience.
I think everyone here would agree that you can't improve on the look of an oem lip kit, post some pics and we can give more feed back.

I'm not too familiar with 6thgen suspension setups, but I'm personally a fan of tein suspension products.

Re: :)
I was rocking tein lowering springs before I got tein coilovers. The springs rode comfy and the coilovers I have are badass.

Re: :)
yea, coilovers you can adjust. As for sticking to american parts, you're rocking a japanese car.. So you should probably be looking at both american and japanese made parts (like tein).

Re: :)
Tein, like the others have said, is a well respected brand. What you really wanna avoid is the stuff made in China and India
. Your car looks good. A little TLC and she'll look even better. It's a work in progress, so it seems a little overwhelming. You gotta focus on one thing and then go from there. Hell, I've been trying to get my car together for almost 2 and a half years
