New to the forum gang

I have been a Honda motorcycle purchaser for years now. I bought a brand new 1995 CBR600F3 and then a 2000 VF750C (Magna). I've had them both since new and never plan on selling them. My 4 and 6 year old boys will get them one day...cause I won't need them in anymore. Both bikes have been 100% worry free. Just gas, oil, the odd tone up and I've received 16 and 11 years of the best riding ever..non maintenance riding. So I decided to join the Civic nation in 2004, with a 4 door Si. I love this product too. Until today, not a single issue with the car. So, I joined to see how others are fairing, as well as seek advice on what I think is a small problem..technically. Maybe, I'll just ask it here, instead of starting another threat. My silver baby was giving off good heat from the vents (it's been cool enough these days to turn it on) and then suddenly, when I stopped at a red light, the hot air tiurned cool and heated up again as I started driving. Did this over and over. Checked to make sure she's full of coolant..no problem there. Do I have a thermostat issue and is that an easy DIY job on this model. Good to bee here. Looks like there really is a nation on here.

Welcome to the forum!

The thermostat is an inexpensive and very simple DIY, not sure if thats causing the problems though.

Well, I'll wait and see if anyone else has seen this issue, but thanks. It's been a while since I've looked for one in a car enginer bay. Any idea where it's located in there? At the end of a rad hose..but which one and at which end? I just need a little guidance. Never changed brake pads before, but when Honda told me $300, I did them myself too. The bikes were good practice!! Maybe it's time to buy a Clymers, as I plan on doing this minor stuff myself.
