Lol Hai :D
After being here for quite a while (maybe not so long)
I kinda realized that i've never (formally) introduced myself
My name is Kenny, I'm from the Bay Area in California, yes, near San Francisco.
My Civic is my very first car, that's been handed down to me from my dad as a graduation present after highschool.
It is a 2003 Honda Civic EX, white exterior, beige interior, bought brand new at the time
The only mods i've done are:
Short Ram Intake
HID 6k's
LEDs all over my car (just for the hell of it)
ICE:
Sony Xplod CDX-GT520 Head Unit
Polk Audio DB651s 6.5" Slim Mount Coaxial
Sony Xplod XM-280GTX 480 Watt Amplifier
JL Audio 12w3v2 Enclosed in Q-Logic sealed box
And that's about it. I have no future plans for this car (because it is an automatic)
I really want to trade in this car for a 2009/2010 Scion TC, manual in white
So far, i've learned a lot about cars from friends, and this forums, though I don't have a lot of mechanical experience, so i learn as i go.
I started with no knowledge of car anything, (i didnt even know what VTEC was for)
Then I did my first oil change, spark plugs, tranny change, and picking up new skills here and there
I do not like to race, because it's stupid and dangerous, but I do like my car to sound and look nice.
So my priority isn't too mechanical, but more of detailing and maintenance more than anything. You can probably see how i try to take care of my car by keeping it clean and running.
I'm a really easy guy to get along with. and will (try to) help out if i can, and contribute to the community
Here's a few pix

Another bit about me, is that I like to go to car shows, and some photography...so go figure

Street racing is stupid and dangerous. But I just consider it natural selection.

Re: Lol Hai :D
I have to disagree. Racing is not really any more dangerous than driving on the street. There are no hazards like potholes or sand. And other racers look out for each other. People are paying good attention. No one is doing there makeup in their vanity mirror while driving on a road course lol. Also if you do loose control there are not trees and such on the side of the road to hit (unless you are rally racing). Plus you have way more safety equipment.

Funny you should mention street racing is stupid and dangerous. That's the subject of my next speech in my speech class, advocating against illegal street racing
