Hello from Boone
Hello from Boone
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I just purchased a tuned 2002 civic coupe Ex earlier this month. I'm so excited that it is getting 2-3 times the gas mileage of my truck. I'm fairly mechanical, but all of my experience is working on motorcycles and my truck, so I'll probably be stopping by to ask honda specific questions now and then.
The PO has installed Eibach Sportline springs with khoni shocks. Neuspeed front upper strut brace and lower X brace. No name rear upper strut brace. Clarion in dash DVD player. Grounding kit, headlight direct wiring kit. DC short throw shifter. K&N cone intake, performance headers.
So far all I've done it purchased some OEM style fog lights (you need them up on these mountains).
It goes around the corners here very nice. It could accelerate faster, but I don't want to throw too much money into it (that's what my truck is for) and I don't want to ruin my gas mileage. Perhaps a stage 1 cam is in my future, since they are almost identical to stock before v-tech kicks in. But I have no plans for turbo charging it, or anything like that (who wants a front wheel drive car with that much power any way).
If you up in this area and want to go hit some great mountain roads, or if you have a 4x4 and are interested in going out on some trails, just shoot me a PM.

They come off every summer.
