My First Post!!
My First Post!!
Hi!
I've been a member for a while but this is my first ever post!
I've been using the search function as any intelligent person should to research anything and everything about our Civics. I gotta say, every question I've ever had has been answered here
A little about myself:
I'm probably a lot older than most you...hope that's OK...
I live in the Toronto GTA area.
I've driven everything from Hyundais to Firebirds to Bimmers in past years. My current ride is a black 5 spd 2002 Civic Si (EX in the US). I've got an Injen short ram intake on order, brand new 17" rims and rubber on hold until warmer days arrive (which should be 2-4 weeks from now). Eibach sportlines are installed and a full camber kit was just delivered to me today by the UPS guy. I'll post some pics when I get everything installed.
I do however have a question for you guys (and gals), forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong area... has anyone ever installed an aftermarket exhaust on your EM2 Civic with a hitch out back? I've been wanting to install a Greddy Evo2 catback exhaust but the hitch bracket is totally in the way. Maybe a Apexi N1 system would fit?? I'd like to keep my hitch as I use it to haul my mountain bikes around....but I'll ditch it if I have to and haul them in my futures wifes car
To throw in my 2 cents, I've noticed some of you drive Civics because you have to and some because you want to...
...I'm one who wants to...they are so much fun! Easy to maintain, totally reliabe, low cost to insure and operate and the aftermarket support is massive.
EM2s in specific are in my opinion sexy as hell. I love the lines...nice and clean...
...happy to be on here and hope to make some friends...regardless of your age!
cheers!

DeX
I meant mounting of tires onto rims. Maybe you gots the muscles to make it happen but for the rest of us we let the professional equipment bring the tires and rims together...
Any f$%$ meathead can bolt wheels onto their cars...

Re: My First Post!!
Dont mind dex- just a typing error.
Ride looks pretty good. I'm suprised you already have some modson it- the lip/fogs/lowered... did you do that yourself? You've been here for a while to know whats up- it looks good.
How old are ya anyways... I feel old at 23, but I know a lot of ppl are older then me on here, and younger. Welcome regardless.

Re: My First Post!!
I posted that after getting home from a poker game all drunk, didn't get across the point I was looking for, sorry man. I thought you meant putting the wheels on the car, not onto the rim! That's funny.
Re: My First Post!!
haha!
Actually I was drunk too when I wrote that...
No worries at all.
Thanks TRIZ. I did everything myself except the drop. I was tempted to after seeing some DIYs but decided to leave it to the pros. I did install the camber kit myself though! Going for the clean understated look (I'm severly allergic to rice). I'll try to take some better pics soon.
Let's just say I'm 30 something and we'll leave it at that
