New to the forum, im not currently a civic owner but have owned many hatches. I am a srt-4 owner and a member of my local srt-4 forum. The reason i find myself here is i recently turbo'd my buddys 96 dx d16y7 and have some questions and need some parts , mainly a new engine since his oil returnline blew off the turbo while is girl was driving and she didnt bother to turn it off untill it turned itself off

im about to be building my dead buddies 95 civic hatch into a race only car here within the next few months so it wouldn't take very much to get me into a civic but as far as ditching my srt-4's ( i have 2 one red one silver) i don't think that can happen unless i trade one for the new Hemi Challenger coming out in another year...

See that's the problem with those damn Neon SRT-4s. It's like on one hand they're a damn Dodge Neon. But on the other hand, a few tweaks here and there, some slicks, a mediocre driver, and the ****ing things can run 11s. Welcome to the site. You guys can't be all bad since most of us turbo nutters run SRT-4 injectors in our D17s. I guess (for Dodge) it's kind of like Prima Nocta (sp?). If we can't kick them out, we'll breed them out.

OK, so it's a shameless aping of a quote from Braveheart, but I'm drunk and no one will ever meet me in person so you can't do anything about it anyway!

are you kidding me , i was wondering if my spare set of stock injectors would work but instead i followed the how to on turbod16.com and used turbo dsm injectors, either way after we do this full motor build in a couple of weeks i think we will step up to 15psi and put in the stock srt-4 injectors...

They only drop right into a D17 rail with minimal fuss because the neck (correct term?) of the injector and the O-ring are the same size as our stockers. D16s are a completely different size and have a much larger neck than the D17 and SRT-4s, hence why the DSM and standard RC injectors are direct drop-in for them.

So, in a nutshell, your SRT-4s won't fit the D16 rail unless you do some creative O-ring juggling to get them to fit securely in the rail.

with 3 sets of dsm injectors, 1 set of srt-4 stock injectors, 2 sets of d16 injectors and 1 set of b series injectors i think i should be able to find a oring/injector combo that will work out fine, now i need another d16y7 motor or a rebuild kit and some bigger rods....
