What I do.
I just thought I would share a few pics with you guys.
I took these the other day at work.
I am a systems admin for a large company. (IT guy Matt)
So here a a few pics of what I do:
Peaking in the door:

Yes the phone system is relatively old but the rest of the stuff is pretty current.
The room does have its own Cooling system and there is a 220 window unit in the wall. It is used in the event that the main AC quits. The room is also an several APC UPS's. There is also a natural gas generator that will come on line if the power is off for more than 30 seconds.
