Hi, I'm new.
Hi, I'm new.
I've always been a big fan of the Honda Civics but I've never owned one. Well, I just got one last week. 2002 Honda Civic Ex. 52,000 Miles. Completely stock. I always see people talking about a B18 swap or H22 (I think?) swap. What kind of engines do they have in them originally? And under the hood it says its a 1.7L but on summitracing (just browsing) they ask what the cc is? (1700, 1688?, and a couple others) Where do I find that at? Your help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Welcome to the site as well. Nice low-mileage Civic. Throw some more pics of it up when you get a chance. What are your plans for it? Did you get a an auto or stick?
Anyway, have fun with it!

Re: Hi, I'm new.
It's has a manual transmission. I'm not really sure where to start really. I don't have that big of a budget. I'm thinkin maybe an intake and exaust for now. I wanna make it run and sound good before I make it look good (I make fun of the kids around here that just make em look good) I am gonna start savin up to get it lowered. A buddy o mine says he's got a turbo for it sittin in his garage but I don't know the first thing about turbos at all. I'll give him a call and find out what it is and let you guys know, maybe you can help me out.

Re: Hi, I'm new.
Lots of turbo info on the site. Make sure you have a hefty bank roll before undertaking that one. Trust me. I have 43 pages of a thread that will explain why.
