Wassup!
Hey Im from Montville, NJ and i just recently got my first car (civic).
Bit of a strange story behind this one. My father owns an autobody shop in Belleville NJ and this dude from Oklahoma comes in with this white DX coupe. Had a crushed front bumper on the left end with the headlight blown. He found out what it would cost him to fix it, dont remember what the price was but aparently it was too much for him! He ended up abandoning the car at my dad's shop.
To make a long story short, we replaced the headlight and bumper and cleaned her up. It actually was a pristine car aside from the damage. Almost nothing wrong with it. Its a 99 DX which only had 44,949 miles on it! The only thing i ended up in paying for was for the retrieval of titles which costed me 50 bucks lol, not bad for a first car....
So far what ive done with it have been some new American Racing 15 inch wheels, an OEM spoiler, a carbon fiber hood, and a Apexi World Sport II full catback exhaust. Im planning on putting more into it, i don't plan on getting ridiculous horsepower numbers out of it or a swap later on. I just want it to be a fun drive and a quick A to B car.
So here I am, new driver, and i plan to get most of my info here on the forums and to make some good friendships hopefully. Ill have photos up soon of my ride so you can all get an idea of where im at.
