Sure.
Clover green paint.
Band-aid stickers on your bumper
Black rims with a polished lip.
Oh wait a minute, that's your car LT! Nevermind!
Just take a look at the Post Pics of Local Ricers thread and you'll figure it out soon enough. Or watch anyone of the Fast and Furious movies.

Re: New to the forum...
This is interesting, What is rice, well I defined it in my other thread:
https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...y-analogy.html
What makes you ricey, is when you install, or do modifications to your vehicle without any real desire to learn or be a part of the aftermarket modification culture....
When you buy cheap things such as taillights and cheap exhausts, it shows and you look like the dude that doesn't really care that much about your car. Ricey modifications are ones that are mostly useless. Function dictates desire in my opinion. I don't want to spend money on things that aren't going to do anything, with the exception of a complete paintjob and the sorts.

Re: New to the forum...
One additionaly thought, I just realized that certian modifications are looked upon as a mockery thereof.
I think being a ricer is just like being a poser....you act like something you're not.

Re: New to the forum...
Man, there's something that you have to understand here. You bought a honda civic, the holy grail in a ricers eyes. This means that something that.. say.. a sentra se-r spec v could get away with without a problem you will be called a ricer for. Some people think this is a bad thing, I think it's great. There are too many damn ugly cars on the roads today and I hate owning a car like them (civic).
Anyways, any body kit on a daily driven car is rice IMO.
-a big *** wing on a fwd car = rice
-an exhaust that gives you no damn power but makes your car loud as hell = rice
You know what, I'm going to quit there.. too many things are considered rice, but they're all considered that for a damn good reason... it's all ugly as hell.
*nice* Lip kits are key. I love to see a car with a nice lip kit.
