Howdy - Intro
Hello!
I've recently joined the ranks of civic owners.
Honestly, I use to be a 100% domestic supporter and would rag on these cars hardcore. This was until I had to sell my Trans Am, a few years later I bought my 06 Honda CBR 600RR and fell in love with it.
Because of the love I had for my motorcycle, I decided I wanted the same quality and engineering that it was built with and then it dawned on me why so many love the Honda Civics. So, I set out on an adventure to purchase one. Well, I only had access to 12k cash and a trade valued at about 2500 trade in. No dealers here in the Phoenix area would even talk to me about a new or even used 8th gen Civic. But that's what I wanted. So after some hunting I came upon an 07 Civic LX for 10,500. It has 9,500 Miles, however it is a salvaged car. I don't mind this so much knowing the quality of Honda.
The car is clean and the only problem I've noticed so far is an issue that is keeping the low beam headlights from coming on. However, I need to fix this in order to pass inspection and get the car registered and transfered to my name. I am attending MMI to be a HonTech motorcycle mechanic so I have some mechanical experience. I'll be posting my issue in one of the other troubleshooting or 8th Gen specific forums if anyone cares to contribute. But largely I need a wiring schematic.
I look forward to many miles ahead in the life of my new Civic and I'm sorry for taking so long to realize what I was missing out on and for ragging on the imports
