it stands for "Sport Injection" it's not just a trim level... congrats on the new car by the way... mine's exactly 20 years older than yours by the way and still running strong... good choice in car!!

si stands for sequential injection
dx stands for deluxe package
lx stands for luxury package
ex stands for executive package
This is what I came up with and seems to be the consensus from where I've looked around. Never knew the acronyms had an actual meaning from honda. You learn something new everyday.
But the sequential injection actually makes sense. If you look at the older hondas in the mid-late 80's, alot of motors were dpfi and then changed to mpfi. I think back then, the mpfi (sequential injection) was only available on si models. At the time, they made more power and were a "higher standard" than the dpfi models, hence it would make sense that honda continued using the si as the top end performance model for the civics.

Probably... I mean he's already in the dog house... Mark and his brother took my car (Tony... that's what I named my car) out on a joy ride and they drifted... while I was at work! Then Tony ran out of gas and mark and his brother had to walk to go put gas in Tony and then he bought me a moldy donut! Definately in the dog house! Forget that ish!

lol well just name a part or company and maybe just maybe i got a hook with em....lol working for ford has its perks....lol(cuz ford is in rally too....) also if you guys need work on your car or just parts lemme know.....aight mang yea travis is just like a 20 min drive from my place.....
