Checking in from Omaha, NE. 2007 Civic EX coupe, 5-speed, sunroof, pretty nice car, I think. I'd like to get it up to at least as fast as my GTP was stock, maybe a hair faster, but it already outhandles the GTP by far. Overall, never been a fan of Hondas, but this civic isn't too bad.

Bewst sounds like a good plan to me. Is there much aftermarket support for this motor? For that matter... What motor do I even have?

Hey you can find out what type of motar you have by looking on the engine it self, or there should be a sticker on your hood at least telling you how many Liters it is. Its a start right?

then you could go to like www.edmunds.com and look up used car specs on you car and match the model ect... and you mite get a better answer!

I think the 8th gen EX's come with an R18. Maybe?? Either way, that's a new motor, so aftermarket support may take a little while. Should've got the si, the k20's been around for years, with a ton of support.
