And uhm... sorry to break the news to you, but in order to unleash any 'potential' on a D17, you need a turbo and lots of patience. Addons do nothing, perhaps an up for around 20 horsepower... 30 maybe. Most people who want their Civics to run fast (and would do anything to get it) don't even play with their D17s and get a K-swap (K = engine from Civic Si, RSX, TSX, CR-V... and donno if there's any one else who uses the K).
But since you want to use the D, you just need patience and to talk to Boilermaker1. He could help you out!
