Ex Domestic Owner in Love With My New Civic!!!!!
I never thought it would happen, but I just picked up my new 2004 Black Civic EX Coupe 5 speed last night. I am totally in love with this car, and it's been the best decision on an automobile purchase I've made in years and years (well, since I bought a new '92 Accord LX back in 1992!!!
Not telling my age, but I'm older than 25, younger than 32
) I was referred over to this site from Super Honda, and I'm really glad you all are here. I'm going to get a pic up here in the next couple of days, until then, I'm going to get the windows tinted next weekend (a must have with a black car anyways), and 17" wheels and tires are on the menu for the next month or so (I'm thinking either the Mille Miglia Evo 5, or a black rim with a polished lip) The stock gunmetal alloys on it now look great, but I need something bigger!!!! Anyways, I'm rambling. Just wanted to say hi, and I look forward to learning more about my Civic, and getting it to look the way it should!

u musta had gelopy's before this car for it to be the "best u've ever had"
Thanks for that great response.
"gelopy's"? Ummmm, no....A 375 hp Mustang Cobra(and that was fwhp), a 250 hp Grand Prix(again, rwhp), a 250 hp Shelby Daytona Z Turbo, I'm used to running 1/4 miles at nothing more than 13 seconds, sure the Civic is horrible in the 1/4 mile in the shape it's in now (what is it 16,17 seconds?) .....I don't think I need to go on....I was referring to the best I've had as far as comfort, dependability, and gas mileage. But thanks anyways, if that's the way you make new members feel welcome, then that pretty much sucks ***....although there's one on every car forum, that much I know.

First off, welcome!
Don't listen to anyone that has red reputation bars...most likely they are "a55hats"!
One other thing...run a search before asking questions and posting b/c most likely the topic has been covered...site's been around a while.
Again...welcome!

Welcome tenayshusD. Enjoy your new ride, they're great! Careful about the modding...it's addictive!
Don't listen to the negative people on here, sure we're not driving super fast cars, but they're fun, they're economical, and they're cheap to modify.

I hear ya guys...and thanks for the welcomes....I should know better than to listen to the negative stuff....I've been on different car forums for years, and it's very familiar wherever you go, but it's still just irritating....but anyways, thanks again
