New Silver DX from Maine
New Silver DX from Maine
I just got a 5-speed Silver DX (stripped down model, not even AC) and I thought I'd say hi.
I'm so impressed with the shifter and clutch on this car. It's like butter. The handling is great, too, despite the tiny tires and the lack of sway bars.
I put in an Alpine MP3 CD deck the first night I got it. Those clips holding the dash console were a bitch!
I'm not planning on doing much more to it, as I feel Honda has achieved perfection in a commuter car. It would be like modifing a McLeran F1, IMHO.
My other car is a DSM, and that's where all the speed money goes. The Honda is a much better daily driver, though. 24mpg vs 38mpg is *huge* these days!
Hope to meet some of you someday!
