HID wiring help! only one light working (searched)

I just purchased the DDM 35W Hi/Lo HID kit. I followed the installation guide for the H4 bulb on their site step by step. The only thing i did different was that I also attached a relay/wire harness because I read on the forum somewhere that you needed a relay to work properly. After I set all of that up i turned on my lights and nothing happened. So I decided to try the install without the relay/harness. After I set this up I turned it on , however only one bulb was lit.

Just to see if it was the bulb, I switch everything around, but this time nothing happened. At this point I have no idea what is wrong.

So I switched it back to the way it was without a relay and this time nothing happened

So I went back and tried the relay/harness and of course nothing happend, but when I took if off and reconnected the way it was, I got the left bulb to light again.

Can anyone help me out and give me some input please? This is very frustrating and i would like to know whats wrong and get it fixed. Is there a possibility I got a bad bulb? I will attach a diagram of how it was set up with & without a relay/harness.

Thanks for anyone that can provide some assistance

the thing you dont know what is, has a few fuses. and yes its possible your bulb is bad, test the working bulb with both ballasts, then the bad bulb with bost ballasts. determine problem

well their H4 install guide shows a toyota. you need to verify that what you got is ground switched H4 or positive switched H4. also, you can test the ballasts and bulbs without the harness by putting 12v onto the 9006 connector. if both ballasts and both bulbs work, then it's a wiring issue.

Thanks for the help! I ended up finally getting everything fixed after hours of switching bulbs and ballasts to different sides of the car. I found that both ballasts were working and then both bulbs were also working, just not together. If I take my current setup and simply move the bulb & ballasts to the opposite side, neither or possibly only one would work. Quite frustrating but im glad everything is finally working
