HID install question.

HID install question.
ok so i installed my HIDS but they wont turn on at all and i checked my fuses and my connections and they all seem fine except for the one connection of the HID harness to the Factory light harness it seems way to easy to pull apart and i was wondering was i supposed to hook it up to the factory harness cause everything else about the install is pretty straight forward i just dont know what i couldve done wrong and that seems like the only logical thing. and the thing i hooked up the HID harness to was where i pulled the old light out of. idk i just need help.

oh and my highbeams still work. i was reading other hid threads and i think untuned was saying that your highbeams dont work when you have a single hid system and thats what i have but my highbeams are still working but my hids arent? so where did i go wrong?
