Headlight/hid question 04-05

Is it possible to have hids in the spot where your hi/low bulbs are? the inner bulbs on 04-05s.

If its possible I would be using those lights during the night, also wondering if there would be enough light coming through to see properly.

Re: Headlight/hid question 04-05

no you can't run HID's in the place of your high beams and still use them as DRL's. the HID's have to have full voltage in order to work. trying to run them like DRL's will likely damage the ballasts. that's why cars like Acura TL's that have bi-xenons (only one HID headlight) have a seperate halogen bulb for DRL's. if you want to replace your high beams with HID's, then you'll have to disable the DRL function.
