I got some free 01-03 sedan chrome projector headlights from my boy Christian Calim and the only reason I'm posting this, is because I only have one set of oem headlights and I don't wanna rip it all apart to find out I can't do it for some crap reason..
I've heard everything should mount the same and fit the same( 01-03 sedan projectors to 02 coupe), but looking at my oem headlights on my car and the projectors from the sedan the sedans look bigger.. and yes I have the connectors for the bulbs from sedan to coupe.
Will it fit w/mod or w/o mod?
Also, The lens' on these projectors are messed up... waaaay beyond fixing.. Will my oem headlight lens fit on the aftermarket projector?
Here's a few pics:

Goo-Gone(Goof-Off) Whatever you want to call, didn't even affect this stuff..
Any advice or previous posts on this matter that anyone could give, I rep heavily.

try meguiars plast-x or scratch-x for the covers. or even rubbing compound first followed by the above. they will fit fine, size is the same for 01-03 any model, the projectors just use stock sockets so i dont think installing them will be a problem. in fact on ebay or wherever, there is no different part for coupe/sedan. just one kind.

You happen to know if my stock lens' will fit on the projectors?
They're really not worth trying to clean up, it's on there pretty thick.

well they might fit, but the stock lens has a different shape for the parking light so it might look weird. its not all flat like the projector ones.

search please? don't expect people to do your work for you. we're here to help. but we're not going to do everything for you. i'd have to search to find it again, so it's just as easy for you to search. just search by username and try "HID" for the keywords

no prob bro. some people come on here and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter. they don't learn anything that way.

I just got home and I left the driverside headlight in the car today and when I got off work the lens just popped right off. I love vegas weather... sometimes.
I got the passenger side in the car right now :P
I'll be lookin up that thread here in a second. Thanks Electrical.

So I left my driverside projector in the car all day today and when I got off work, I pealed the lens' right off. I love Vegas weather.
I took some pictures of the inner workings since the last pics had those messed up lens' on em.
Anyone think I can fit this setup in my stock headlight cavity or would I have to remove and replace the angel eye and the halo ring with my oem 'projector'?

Okay so I'm really confused.
I just called this All Jap Salvage here in town and the 'tech' who answered the phone said that the 01-03 coupe and sedan headlights are completely different and there is no way to fit a sedan headlight into the coupe and vice versa.
Can anyone verify this for me?
True? False?

aside from the sockets being different, there are minor differences in the reflector and side light. but the actual unit will fit in just fine.

Word thanks both of you.
If I could rep you both again, I would. You two are the mans.
I called Honda shortly after and they said the same so I'ma try wetsanding those lens' with 1500 grit and then 2000 grit, black the housing and just use that headlight assy.

So I went to Home Depot and Checker Auto Parts this morning and bought a rubber sanding block and 5 1000 grit sheets for now and I'ma see if that will take off the crap on the lens'. I'll take some pics incase anyone else has this problem with lens'. Granted that it works :P

Re: 01-03 sedan projectors in a 02 coupe?
As I promised, Stage 1 of wetsanding the lens'. I used a rubber sanding block and 1000 grit E3 WetorDry sandpaper. I think I might need to go a step down to get the rest off 'cause I spent almost 3 hours getting it to what it is now with 1000 grit.. and it's still just caked on there like it was resin of some kind.
It *is* a work in progess. I'll keep you updated.

See previous post for before pictures.
Big difference, but still alot of work to be done.
