Cool blue cold cathode fan for angel eye

what do you guys think of this blue color for angel eyes. i found these case fans cheap from xoxide.com and was wondering if they would give the same appearance as the ones skiboard used in his diy. i think the blue is lighter in color but i still think it would look good. let me know what you think.

yes they are 80mm case fans. you just remove the cold cathode tube from the fan housing.

Re: blue cold cathode fan for angel eye

nice. imagine what red CCFL would look like on a red car? i bet that would look evil as hell. probably draw too much attention from the po pos though.

Re: blue cold cathode fan for angel eye

i dont think they make yellow cold cathode fans. All i could find was the CCFL tubes. They might be out there but if they are their hard to find.

You could get like an oragnish yellowish color, dont know how that would look though.

Re: blue cold cathode fan for angel eye

idk, they dont really look that great in the daytime. im actually gonna be using real bmw angel ring for the hi beam with the stock fiber optic lighting (with w5w bulb). and ive heard the ccfl tube isnt too reliable. heat and sun will eventually kill them.
