Looking for HID and halogen pics

A couple days ago, I was searching for info on HID's and there was a thread that showed pics of an HID conversion installed in halogen projectors. i want to say that they were TYC projectors but can't remember. at any rate, i think the pic from the HID's was worse than with halogens. anybody know the thread i'm talking about? i've been searching on and off for 2 days now. but can't find it. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

that's not the specific one i was looking for. i had already found that one too though. i was going to put together a thread showing lots of bad conversions and some good retros for comparison. could i use your pics in it?

its wierd. cause ive seen some good HID kits in stock housings. i think it all depends on the quality of the kit. but i still think a retro is the besy way.

i haven't seen 1 pic yet of a conversion at 25ft from a wall that didn't have a ton of glare. if you know of any, i'd be interested in seeing them.

mine has glare, its not to to bad, but still it sucks. there is no way around it unless you do a projector fit.

do you have pics of it? like on a wall at various distances and on the road? i'm going to be doing a retrofit after what i've read here and at HID Planet. I've already bought a set of TSX projectors for $150 shipped. my purpose in gathering the pics is to show the difference between an HID conversion in a housing made for halogen and HID in a properly designed HID projector. then it would be an easy reference for people to send others come check when they're debating what to buy.

don't know. i saw someone today posting about looking for them (might have been you). i'm going to go with a retro right off the bat. no conversions. especially since the NHTSA has deemed almost all of them illegal.
