A couple days ago I was looking through the threads and I came across some pics of peoples sedans. I can't remember which thread but as I was going through the pics I came across a pic of a green sedan with tail lamps with an amber signal. I went to another thread and saw another pic on a different sedan with the same tail lamps. That got me thinking, the whole time I have been looking for aftermarket tail lamps, I wanted a pair with the amber turn signal. BUT, I can't find them. Damn it, I want those tail lamps!

Does anyone know where I can get some?

there are many different kinds that you can put an amber bulb in. some are generic ebay tezzas with red circle brakes and clear signal, then theres oem jdm lights which all have the amber signal. the 01-02 has amber signal thats tinted over pink like the older jettas. the newer 03-05 looks like our new sedan tails but has a clear signal piece. then there are some others from different countries that have 1/2 red and 1/2 clear... just search ebay but the jdm ones are hard to find.

Correct me if I am wrong gearbox, but the aren't lights in your last post for the 04-05 sedans, and the style flaunted by dirtysam for the 01-03 sedans?

honda changed the tail light design in 2003 model years, so he is correct in saying that those tail lights are for the 03-05.

the jdm tails for 01-02 are exactly the same as 01-02 usdm tails with one important difference: the signal has some sort of green filter so even tho they look red/pink outside, they flash amber. member falken found a pair somehow. the ones dirty sam has are tdm also look very cool but i only like em on darker cars, silver imo they look cheap.

dirtysamurai:YEAH, that's the one. Damn dirtysamurai, that civic is clean. But which tails do you have? If they are the 03-05 I thought they had a round brakelight?

gearbox: ^^^Those look nice but the clear bottoms have more of a "double-take" effect.
