Not a Retrofit.
But CTR LHD Projectors (TSX's) imported from Germany.

TYC housings with standard Valeo D2S DOT projectors. Original fresnel lenses, original D2S Philips bulbs. Philips labeled LVQ-212 ballasts, mounted under the assemblies. Each ballast is on it's own fused / relayed circuit. In my car, they really are hidden (unless you take off the bumper)
They are nothing special (LS430's are much better) but they do work nice and do nothing bad. No fogging, no water leaking inside, no malfunctions, looks stock, works better than stock by far. I don't plan to spend any more money on headlights for this car. It's done, unless somthing goes wrong and needs fixing.

I don't have night time pictures of this retro (I have some of the old Hella bi-xenons). I have some day pictures of the car that I just took a few days ago.. at 72,200 miles. The lights just look like regular TYC lights though, so it won't do a lot of good.
For the ballast mounting, my drivers side ballast is mounted flat on top of the metal platform right under the headlight on the front side of the metal ridge. On the passenger side it's mounted against the metal support that holds the radiator in the car (ballast is verticle on the passenger side) towards the outside of the car (directly opposite side of the radiator support metal). Both relays are mounted in the same area as the passenger side ballast. It stays dry in there and it's close to the battery, with LOTS of open space to put stuff.
About HIDplanet:
I searched for it on google, and from there I read on clubrsx by a poster named Haknslash (I think it's the same guy from HIDplanet) that the web server host for HIDplanet had some problems, and the HIDplanet owner is the process of changing to a new host.

They have the standard blurry mix of purple and blue. They aren't razor sharp, or very blingy thanks to the OEM fresnel lenses. Basically the same stuff you'd see in any 1999-2000'ish Audi A4/S4. I chose them just because they'd fit in the assemblies without a lot of work and custom reworking of the assembly. I chose the TYC assemblies, because the finished product appears stock in daylight, rather than the giant eye ***** in OEM civic assemblies like my old Hellas.
I'd much rather have gotten LS430's, but the work is too difficult for me. I don't think I'd be able to make it work in TYC assemblies. The whole backs would have to be cut off, new mounting system designed and new fiberglass or other material built to close the rear of the assembly. It's beyond my ability and more than I would want to spend on this car to pay littodevil to do it. The regular Valeo D2S was just a choice based on what fits, not what I thought was the best projector out there.

Nobody noticed the big "Jumbo Inflate Monkey" driving my car?? hehe
I haven't been contacted by the body shop that gave me parts in about a year. I would probably never get to see ZKW's anyway, they get mostly Nissans, Lexus or Infiniti cars. I guess I should send them a few pizzas or somthing to remind them I'm still around. I haven't needed any parts lately, so I haven't called them.. maybe they figured I got enough, time to give em to someone else.
