Dual Relay Wiring Harness > Bellof (Catz) Spec 01 Ballasts & Ignitors > D2S(R) Adapters > Osram Bulbs > Bosch Single Xenon > TYC housings.
Passenger side needs a little shield adjustment.
Not perfect but still better than stock halogens.
BTW, for those who are wondering what a budget HID retrofit looks like, this is it,
I got the adapters, bulbs, HID projectors, TYCs, and wiring harness for a little more than $250. Everything new except the TYCs.
The Bellofs I had from my previous setup.
It beats paying $200 for replacement hi/low H4 HID bulbs from Bellof.

cool yea its better for you so who cares how it looks. might even give the illusion of having fogs since the color is different. but yea keep it for the functionality.

hmm thats tricky cause it would prolly have to be rectangle to match the holes.
hey see this is what i mean about it being dim. look how bright my old catz H4 hids were in stock housing. how come retrofit is so much dimmer

Damn right. I'm wanting to do a hid retro with mostly philips components. From what I've gathered, the audi A6 projectors are much brighter. You have s2k guys swapping in tsx projectors, and you have tsx guys swaping in a6 projectors. Whats up with these cardboard spacers- are they giving the lower cutoff that appears yellow?

Re: Post your retrofit thread
that is a foreground limiter designed into the tl projector. i plan on getting those for my future retro, its prolly the best bixenon you can buy. s2k is the best single xenon and prolly best projector ever. tsx is worse than both tl and s2k, but its better than the e46, bosch, and valeo which are way down at the bottom. tsx is average. cardboard spacers are sometimes used to achieve the proper focal point by moving the lens away from the bulb to achieve more cutoff colors, mainly purple and blue.
