"Yellowing" Your Fogs

Should one...

1. Purchase replacement yellow bulbs.
2. Use a yellow film on clear assemblies with conventional bulbs.
3. Combination of 1. and 2.?

Just wondering what everybody here did to get yellow light out of their fog light housings. I was thinking about replacing the yellow bulbs and putting yellow tint on the lenses.

when you use nokya 2500k and lamin-x together, does it melt/burn the film?

I dont know, but the lens gets pretty damn hot after a few minutes of use. I would hope that lamin-x wouldnt burn coz it says that u can use it on ur headlights, so it should not burn them on the fogs

I think gearbox said that if you're driving they will be fine. The air well keep them cool enough but if you just sit and have them on I believe they can over heat. Ask gearbox.
