Exclamation 02 Civic Fog lights

Hi guys, I am honestly looking for a good way to improve the light output for my 02 civic; stock headlights just don't seem to do anything! So i'm pretty close to ordering some fog lights, but I could use some help. Are the fog lights gonna improve my driving visibility for regular night-time driving? Also, should i go with OEM style fog lights, or some PIAA fog lights. TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW, AND EVERYTHING YOU RECOMMEND! Thanks a lot! i've been hitting too many damn cats at night!

just get 100W yellow bulbs. Used appropriate wire harness and a higher rating fuse.

no PIAA, they are the same as all others, except double the price.

CIVIC X3 is on a distinguished road
PIAA sucks...my friend has PIAA..cost? $75...mines NOKYA...same brightness for only $21. and for the foglights...you can get nokya 2500k hyper yellow.

foglights will only give you a lower ground level light but a wider light span. if you really want better light output out of your headlights get some HIDs. i have 4300K HIDs and some aftermarket bulbs for my fogs, i'm like a lighthouse at night.

Bought them from here: http://www.suvlights.com/information.php?info_id=22

Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead but I have the same situation. I'm about to install 100W (2 bulbs = 200W) H11 fog lamp bulbs and was wondering what is the best type of wire (gauge #) and fuse I should use for this high power draining setup. Thanks for any help, as I will be install the fogs tomorrow and don't want to melt the wires.

www.suvlights.com you can have a complete harness with relays for $35 and the wires are nice and thick. im using it for h.i.d. comes with 40amp relay and i think 35amp fuse. but i would be worried about melting the fog housing more than the wires.

marcuse will become famous soon enough
this sounds stupid but on our 02 ex's do we have to replace the whole bottom plastic to properly fit fog lights in or just cut to fit?
