i know int he 04's the dx is the only model with dash lights that are off during the day. but all other models are on with the daytime running lights. I am trying to figure out how I can wire these to be on always when the car is on..

have you thought about a cluster swap to the 03+ ex/lx gauges?

if ic ould find one. possibly. but i have been unable to as of yet. also a large investment.
i need to figure out which wire is the illumination wire under the dash for the whole damn thing. them i'll just rerun that off a fuse into the cig lighter wiring. so with power the thing turns on

I just need to know udner the dash where and what is the main illimunation wire for the whole dash?

i don't know why you're trying to make them light up in the day time. my 01's stock cluster only lights up with the parking lights and headlights. my 04 stock cluster lights up 24/7.

i have an 04 dx which does not.a nd ebcause i plan to put tint over the gauges to slightly tint them i want these to stay on all the time

Simply I need to figure out WHICH wire under the dash or in the fuse box, controls my dash lights on off and provies teh 12v power. i can tap into it once i know this

thats not gonna do anything. those old clusters are so dim, you wouldn't even be able to see it lit up during the day. try it and see. completely useless, but then again they were not designed to stay on. put some leds in there like i have and yea then you'll be able to see it.

im thinking of changing to the blue led mod. a lot of fawkin work. allerady did the a/ controls etc.. hmm
