headlights FOGGING!!!!
soo i have my lights blacked out..... but now they are foggin up at night...... anyone have any ideas... i was thinkin puttin like a silicone glue around itt i dunno PLEASE HELP
yeah.. more silicone should do do. i blacked mine out and when i put the silicone on, i put the headlights in the oven so the old silicone and the new silicone can melt and fuse to form a stronger air tight bond.

open them up, let them sit for a day or throw them in the oven to dry and then use silicone and let that dry and then apply MORE silicone to that! you will be good!

yeah, go to wal-mart, in their painting section (for house paint) there is a little section for adhesives. i used "Heavy Duty WELDER Contact Adhesive" i have no problems with that at all and i inspect them every time i work on my car and it has holding up remarkably! cost: under $5

no headlight is air tight. the bulb sockets still let in moisture especially in humid areas. even stock headlights will fog given the right conditions.

best stuff i used was the GE silicone II...i just used a lot around the headlight and after i put them together than i put a small bead around the whole line of the headlight

if you throw them in the oven to give them a quick dry, do it on the LOWEST setting no more than roughly 120 degrees...i have a warm setting on mine. i would not let them sit in the oven for more than 10 minutes at a time. another way you could do it is use a hair dryer set on HI and just do it by hand.
