fake fog lights

Anyone know where I can get non-functional fog lights. I just want them to look good on the car. I'm taking the bumper off anyway for a grille I ordered. I figured I'll just throw the fake fogs in while I'm at it. Any info will be helpful!

go on ebay and buy oem replicas that actually work and put those on, they're cheap enough, probably the same as what you'd pay for fake ones, why the fxxx would you want fake fog light?...

Fake Fogs? Wtf? Why not just put ACTUAL fogs in if youre going to do the work anyway. That makes no sense what so ever

too much trouble with the wiring and from what I've read on the forums, everyone is always having problems with them. I don't need them to work, I just want them to look good! Who cares whether they're functional, we want our cars to look good. Isn't that one of the reasons why we mod our cars...?

cause you can't just do the wiring yourself. It would be a simple set of wires to from the battery to a switch then from the switch to the lights. Just add a fuse between the battery and switch and you are done. So you have both lights grounded to the chassis by the lights. You have 1 power wire from battery->fuse->switch->fogs. Thats it.

Hehe, better put your flame suit on, bro! Seriously, though, wiring them up is not that hard. Get a friend to do it for you, or even pay for someone to wire them up, but PLEASE don't just put them there for show. Oh, and don't mind the flamers....there will be so many....

Are you serious?

Get some neons and put them on the side of car, So everyone can see tubings and don't wire them.

come on.. Function > show

Fog lights are not complicated to wire them.
Get some OEM replica foglights off ebay.

If you can take off bumpers, you can install fog lights.

Hi,

I won't give you useless flame.

There is no such thing as fake fog light. I think you mean the foglight housing. You can get the foglight housing, without connecting all the wires, relays and harness, it would be a "fake fog light".

However, the housing of fog lights are the most expensive parts, therefore, if you spend the money, you might as well get the whole kit. Install the harness when you want, just store them somwhere else.

It is unlikely someone would sale you only the fog light housing. They would only if you pay the same price as for the whole kit.

thanks

Thanks Orion! That's exactly what I intend to do. I just purchase a whole kit today. I'll install the fogs and my grille while the front bumper is off and then finish the rest at a later date.......basically when someone experienced with electrical components on a car. I don't want to Mickey Mouse the job!

I plan on adding some guages to my car. This got me thinkn why go through hassle of hookn em up. After all just for looks anyway right? LOL. Just wire them up dude, not that hard, plus if you want to get technical about it I believe most motor vehicle codes say if there is lights on your vehicle they must function. Dont know if that would apply to fog lights or not. Now I dont think cops would pull u over to check if they work, but when u go to get it inspected they may make u wire them up.
