do you guys already have HIDs?

I have 9006's installed in my 05 coupe, without shields obviously......do we really need shields for them?

There No One Else Who Would Like To Have A 9006 Hid Shield Instead Of Retrofiting A Projector?

the 9006 housing on the 04-05s actually provide for a lot less glare than the 01-03s...the single beam helps a lot...most plug and play kits for the 04-05s will have little glare...instead of glare shields i suggest just getting some rebased D2S bulbs (ebay, www.hidexpert.com , hid planet) cuz on the 04-05s glare isnt that bad with the stock shield

you can always sent them into hidexpert.com i asked him and he says its $35 shipped for getting 2 d2s/d2r bulbs rebased to 9006 so u can just plug them into ur stock headlight...and you can put on a 9006 connector onto the harness and plug it into the balast...i think hidexpert also can make custom connectors...i was thinking of getting thier kit but im broke at the moment so i just asked a buncha questions

the things they sell are OEM equipment which they get from Denso/koito which are suppliers for Lexus and toyota and they use OEM phillips and osram bulbs which they use in all OEM cars equiped with HID's...they have a machine rebase the bottom of the bulb with a 9006 ring so it will fit in the slot of a 9006 headlight reflector...i think they can also make u a custom connector for the 9006 so u can connect the stock harness to the balast...i got this info from them when i emailed them

hmmm seems like buying rebased will offer you the same quality equipmentas oem, but nearly the same output as a generic plug and play kit

so it will last longer but output would be good depending on what bulb style u have...xenondepot has oem kits too but they're a lot more expensive

u can get a rebased 9006 kit for a little bit more than a cheaper plug and play kit for your car from www.hidexpert.com ....thats what i would do
