Projectors and HID help!
I unfortunately just found out after purchasing projector head lamps, that they only support h1 bulbs, and my Bright star HIDs are H4,
now I am faced with a few options
1) buy new bulbs for my HID kit if thats even possible (somebody help)
2) make a custom fit for h4 bulbs in the lamp
3) scrap the projector idea and just black out OEM

if your bulb connections look like this:

then you'll be able to get new bulbs for your HID kit.
but you'll still have to bore out the hole where the bulb goes to fit the HID bulb..

it's impossible. h1 projectors were designed for use with h1 bulbs. if you stick a h4 bulb into a h1 projector, you're going to be pissing off a lot of people. even if you have a high/low h4 kit and somehow managed to get it to fit inside your projectors, the high beam feature would be useless. actually, to be more accurate, you'd just create a lot more light directly in front of your bumper and take away all the light thrown in front of you if you turned on the "high beams."
i wouldnt go through the trouble of trying to find new HID bulbs that will fit your kit as the bulbs themselves will probably cost 75% of what your kit cost, retail. option 2 is a worse idea. i like option 3.

or get some valeo or bosch projectors and do a retrofit on the projector headlights and get some D2S bulbs and some phillips balasts and get rid of ur other hid kit (here is a secret www.hidplanet.com has bosch and valeo kits for retrofits)
I Would Just Do Retro Fit...as Ragingspam Said...cuz Even If U Do Get The H1 Bulb In Your Projecters....u Not Gone Get That Much Lights...u Gone Run In To Lots Of Problems. Like..changing Bulbs Every Couple Monts Thats Cost Lots Of $$ And Time...i Rether Spend Some Extra Money Up Front And Get The Best Light Output ,no Problems And Time Wich Worth More...
All I Hve To Say Is "after Market Hid Kits Are $uck"
