foglights+laminX+remote starter=crap
well, turns out my laminx is starting to burn. they've been fine on my fogs since august but since i've gotten my starter put in i noticed the laminx on one of my fogs has a burn mark. the bulbs are stock. i'm guessing because the car wasnt in motion that the heat in the fogs just built up and started to burn the laminx. sure i can just turn the fogs off before i have the starter go on but thats just annoying. so i guess even stock bulbs will burn the laminx. yeah its cold where i am.
when spring comes around i'll just take the laminx off and get nokya yellow bulbs. so what if the foglight lenses shatter, they're dirt cheap on ebay. also since i have blacked out headlights with no amber the yellow lense foglights just didnt match.
any thoughts?

same here man. i've thought a lot about going back to clear lenses, it just doesnt match the ambers.
i just got nokya yellow for the bulbs, and i smell something melting... i think its my wires

haha yea two of us here have been using the nokyas for a few months at least. my friend has em on all the time. neither of us have burning problems. its prolly just the bulb smelling (or your crappy ebay fogs burning lol). I put stock bulbs back in mine but i might just put the laminx on since i rarely use the fogs anyway except just before dark. and my lenses are $100 so i'd rather have them not break.
man i dont know, its my 3rd night of using them and there has to be something wrong lol. the wires dont really seem hot and the lens isnt really that hot either. i would put some stock bulbs in if i could find them, honda wants 20 bucks a piece! even on ebay all they sell is aftermarket. although the color from the nokya's is nice, yellower than before with the stock bulbs. really though, ever since i put them in my car i've been getting light headed driving around at night with them on. lol something is wrong. there is no smoke or anything

this sucks. i cant find the hyper yellow H11 at the stores in my area. i got arctic white for my headlights which are kinda nice but yellow H11 is out of stock everywhere. i cant even order online for the next month cuz i'm moving at the end of february and dont want my package sent to the wrong house if the shipping takes long.
